A cheeky little mini-sode from off of Guildford, brought to you by Kate Glover off of EPLUpdates!
Kate gets Coach Hand's take on this crucial split-point weekend and has a chat with Jim "Tambo" Piper about the ups and downs of the game.
A great many thanks to Kate (and all involved) for giving up their beer drinking time at the Spectrum.
Next show should be up on Friday - after the clash with the Steeldogs!

Coach Hand knew that this would be the weekend that could change it all.
Well, half way through the double-header against the Flames and it is looking better than we had dared to hope.
A great home game with pretty much every man being a contender for MOM honours but with Foney getting the beers in the end. Wallace and Archer playing a beautiful line together and Faith turning tough guy when faced with bother from Linniard (taking on Andrew Sharp's role a little).
No Curtis Huppe and some lads carrying injuries surely didn't hurt the Phoenix's chances but Tony Hand will be really pleased with this performance and will be settling himself and the boys for a seriously tough road game on Sunday.
Let's see if it can be ten in a row and Phoenix sitting pretty as a serious title contender once more.

When they come to write the history of the Phoenix, this weekend will surely get a mention.
Lightning came to the Ice Dome with a painful loss behind them and fire in their bellies. That explains what was an ill-tempered game from start to finish.
Tom Duggan was back on the ice and made his presence felt all over the ice. He joins us on this week's show.
James Neil deserves an honourable mention too. A goal and an assist - surely no fight just because nobody would go! (Well, OK. Maybe not)
Ben Wood scored a belter on Sunday night and the imports and Brits are gelling incredibly right now. In short, it's all coming up Phoenix.
So, talking of history in the making, next weekend could be the weekend when the season all changed for the Phoenix. The double-header of the year is on the horizon.

Tony Hand MBE joins us on the show this week. Steering the Phoenix out of the myre with another victory in the face of adversity but also with his Team GB Coach position announced, Tony is very muc the man of the hour.
A bit of a strange game to provide punditry on this weekend. The Bees owe a great deal to Mr Ambler who stopped Phoenix putting the game to be in the first period.
But, that was not how it was to be. Instead, Phoenix were made to grind out the two points in front of yet another great home crowd.
The Podcast team suffering a little from the old post-new year celebrations symptoms makes for more than a little light-hearted scribble - but at least they had Stollen. Well, it makes a change from bara brith!
If you want to let us have your views on anything we discuss on the show, give us a call or send us your messages online. We like to hear from you. It makes us feel all warm inside.
All of that and "Happy New Year!"

Wow. That's all I can say.
A depleted Phoenix side faced an apparently insurmountable challenge in the Steeldogs and, by the end of the first period, it wasn't looking promising.
But then.... Phoenix came from nowhere and took control of the game. Checking just as hard as the 'dogs and taking their chances wherever they could find them.
A thrilled near-capacity crowd watched as the lads took the game to penalties and the roof nearly came off when the Phoenix won.
For any first-timers at the Dome, this was one that would get them back week after week.
We caught up with captain Luke Boothroyd for post-match chat and it was nice to see him smiling. Check it out for yourselves.
See you in the new year?
